YOUR
FAVOURITE
HOSTS.
Kin Catering is built around something we’ve always believed: the best gatherings feel effortless.
They’re the ones where the food keeps coming, the drinks are flowing, the details feel considered, and the host actually gets to enjoy the people they brought together.
Born from the family behind Kin & Folk Restaurant, Kin Catering brings years of experience across restaurants, hospitality, events and creative production to the table. We’ve spent years creating events, hosting them and being the people who notice all the little details that make one feel really good.
We created Kin Catering & Events to bring all of that together.
From intimate dinners and weddings to corporate gatherings, brand events and large-scale celebrations, we approach every event a little differently. Great food is at the heart of it, but so is how it looks, how it flows, how your guests are taken care of and how the whole thing feels.
Think of us as the friend who knows how to throw a really good party. We just happen to bring the team, the food, the drinks and years of experience with us.
We are so grateful to be part of your celebrations!

MASTER OF MENUS-
The menu should be one of the best parts of the party.
Chef Zac is the creative force behind the food at Kin Catering and Kin & Folk. His cooking is bold, thoughtful and never too serious, with inspiration coming from flavours, cultures and experiences from all over. Give him a classic, a craving or even a slightly crazy idea and he has a way of turning it into something you didn’t know you wanted.
Zac loves building a menu around the occasion. Passed canapés for a room that never stops moving, an interactive station that becomes part of the experience, a multi-course dinner or a family-style feast down the middle of the table. It’s not about fitting your event into one style of food. It’s about creating the food that belongs at your event.
Mack Davis
MASTER OF SIPS-
A good drink can set the tone for the whole night.
Mack is the cocktail mind behind Kin & Folk and Kin Catering, with a palate for knowing exactly what a drink needs and when to leave it alone. His cocktails are creative, balanced and always built around one thing: making something you actually want another sip of.
He’s also the business brain behind the scenes, keeping operations moving and making sure the big ideas actually work in real life. Equal parts creative and practical, Mack is usually thinking about what’s in your glass and how we’re going to pull the whole thing off.
Give him a flavour, a feeling or absolutely no direction at all. He’ll figure out what you should be drinking at your event.

MASTER OF PLANNING & LOGISTICS-
There’s a lot that happens between “we’re having a party” and pulling off a really great one.
Once a Red Seal Chef, Dani now brings that same attention to detail to planning catering events of every size. She knows what needs to happen behind the scenes, how all the moving pieces fit together and, most importantly, what it actually takes to make an event run smoothly.
From timelines and rentals to staffing, set-up and all the tiny details you probably haven’t thought about yet, Dani has. She keeps the plan moving, the team organized and makes sure nothing gets lost along the way.
Basically, she’s the person you want making sure everything actually happens when and where it’s supposed to.
GABRIELLA DAVIS
MASTER OF PLANNING & CREATIVE-
It starts with how you want it to feel.
Gabriella brings the creative eye to Kin, taking an idea and thinking through how it comes to life from the moment your guests arrive. With years of experience in marketing, events and hospitality, she’s planned everything from intimate gatherings to large-scale brand and corporate events.
She’s thinking about the details, the flow, the food, the bar, the set-up and all the little touches that make an event feel like yours. Bring her the Pinterest board, the half-formed idea or the very specific vision. She’ll help connect the dots and build an experience around it.
Because a great event shouldn’t just look good. It should feel really good to be at.
